Buy this

I bought three for an open mic (I wanted a few new mics for others to use). My 58 was battered, and I stopped using it some years ago. I think I initially bought one - as soon as I could do so, I A/B'ed it with a Rode NT3 (£150) in a live situation. Apart from a slight increase in presence with the NT3 there was no discernible difference in sound quality or noise/signal ratio. As soon as I'd established the quality I bought two more. That was about a year ago, and they seem to working fine. They are robust and absolutely fantastic value at less than 33% of the price of the model they are copying, with a good quality clip too. For anyone considering buying the original product (whether on a budget or not), I would recommend this alternative. Why not spend the £70 you save on something else (like two more), or give it to charity?

Great microphone, great price
PaulHorahan 18.09.2013
We bought this for use as a vocal microphone. We had only ever used Shure mics in our band and said we'd take a gamble on this when it was such a good price that we couldn't lose. We either get a good mic or a handy spare to have as back up. We have found it to be just as good as our Shure mics and would definitely recommend and definitely buy t.bone mics again.

JB
Excellent Especially for the price
Jack B. 11.09.2013
Incredibly good mic, I went with the swtchless microphones due to mixing from the desk.
Sound quality is great and these micr rival sm58 in almost every expect. Used as house mics for a local small venue's house gear, I use these microphones as backing vocals within my band as well. They have also been used to mic up guitar amps and other random instruments like banjos and squeeze boxes, without any difficulty. The bodies pick up quite a lot of tap if they are carried around which is the only negative I can find but as long as they stay in mic stands then there is nothing I can fault with them. Thoroughly Recommend.
Ohh and Thomann were great with delivery :D
