Okay I guess...

This pop filter does his job. It's really difficult to make it stand like it's supposed too: between the singer and the microphone. The filter tend to drop down. It's pretty annoying to set up... and as soon as you move the microphone, the filter can drop. That's a no from me.

Does the job, but could be better...
Alex Djuran 28.06.2019
I bought this as I didn't have any other pop filter handy and I'm not entirely dissatisfied with my purchase.

The pop filter is sturdy, well constructed, the metal grill is gorgeous, and the clip on joint is fairly solid.

Sadly, that's all the good I can say about it. Firstly, the gooseneck is veeeeery short, almost way to short for most condensers that come with their own shockmounts, and I'm 99% sure it wouldn't work with an SM7. The gooseneck is also very flimsy and weak, I had to bend it in a very strange way to get it to stay put.

Overall, it'll do the trick in a desperate situation, but you can get better.

I bought it due to the small diameter and out of curiosity. I haven't owned a metal one before.
Pros: Small size distracts less when reading lyrics.
Gooseneck and clamp are good.
Works well from reasonable distance.
Cons: When singing very close, the metal "grille" tends to distort sibilance and pop's. Whistling like effect occurs, when lots of air is moving through the shield.

From now on, I prefer standard two layered fabric shields.

Good sound filtering
Anonymous 12.09.2016
I like the sound filtering it has, it really stops any pops or blows. I use it with a Rode M3, which is not a vocal mic and it had huge amount of poping before. With the filter it is great. And the long neck can reach in front of the Rode, which is a fairly long mic.

However, it is not the easiest thing to put in place. The neck is easy to bend, but when you release it, it returns to its previous position. You have to keep working on it until you get a good position in front of the mic. Every time it takes me up to 1 minute of bending it right and left of the mic, until it decides to stay in the middle.

Okay for the price.

Not that sturdy, so it falls down slowly if you set it up sideways.

Sound is okay, and the look of grille is also quite nice.

Plosives make sound against the metal when up close. Be aware!
Valters Veide 21.07.2023
Good for the price, but once you get up close, the air from the plosives makes a "shh" sound through the metal grill thus making it a little worse than the fabric pop filters. But it has its upsides and may interest people who sing far away from the microphone. Easy to clean and looks sleek. A little jagged edges, but for the price very adequate.
