I just bought the Ovid goose neck mic and fitting options just in case some extra horns or winds turn up. Nice to have options to fit a bug to any wind instrument ... works OK on a flute and the Ovid is actually quite light as opposed to other bugs I use ... I don't think a flautist or a clarinetist would want anything too heavy hanging off their end bits!!

This is a handy clip even if you?re not a flute player. I?ve successfully used this to clip the mic to a blockflute (recorder) and in various other circumstances where I needed to hold the mic onto something round which was too big for the general purpose spring clip.

Well made, sturdy and easy to use, doesn't mark the instrument and can be adjusted to the least obtrusive place for the musician. Fits DPA 4099 too, which can be useful.

Not a vice like grip but seems to be very dependable and not much else is that is affordable. The musician did not complain which was a great bonus.

I'm very pleased with this clip which can be used for flute or for clarinet. It's easy to position and stayed in place for hours despite the clarinet being thrown around a bit
