the t.bone Ovid System Violin Clip

The whole t.bone ovid line has a price point so low that it's almost ridiculous. This clip works very well, just don't tighten anything too hard, it's plastic. But anyways, even the main competitor with clips for 5-6 times the price also get's worn out and is also made of plastic. Tip: get some high quality super glue and glue the rubber parts if they are a little loose, at least they were on mine.

Good for t.bone Ovid system microphones, but I think it's price is a bit high for something that can get lost so easily. Unfortunately, there is no alternative to chose from, at least in this price range.
It holds the mic pretty good, even for gigs, but I always have a feeling that it might slip easily.

works great and stays out of the way. Be careful with the screws - don't tighten it to hard because the thread is small and you can easily strip it.

Well it's cheap, and I actually really like this line of products, but this clip has its flaws. The small parts tend to fall off, and it can be hard to fit especially on violas. But it's cheap, so I suggest you buy a spare on for your t.bone microphone.

So far so good, but feels fragile.

I have 3 of them and with 2 of those, the tiny rubber feet came lose and I just discovered it in time that they were laying on the ground before damaging my violin and losing them, rendering this clip useless.

Used some glue to make make sure that they stick. Now, they do their job perfectly.

This clip performs well, however I would add a note of caution:

There is hard plastic on the inside of the adjustable slider which can mark the violin if you are not careful when fitting this clip.

This could be improved by putting some electrical tape on the inside, just to add a bit of cushioning.

It fits perfectly on violin with mic cc100. The price of this clip could be a bit lower.

I'm happy enough with this clip, it just about stretches to mic up a viola even though the 'feet' are a little bit flimsy and can occasionally slide off.

Value for the price is very good. the clip / instrument mounting piece is a bit expensive, compared to the mic.
