the t.bone Ovid System Violin Clip

Better than other very good expensive clamps from much better brands.

This violin clip is a very decent solution to clip your Ovid System microphones on violin. The material although seems to be a bit fragile, but handling it well makes it last long. The price could be a little bit lower.

I bought the ovid system which is amazing, totally satisfied.
The only thing I say is that you can't use the T BONE accessories for the DPA microphone and same thing for the opposite, you can't you the dpa accessories for the T BONE microphone. They are very similar but after few minutes the microphone falls down if you mix DPA with T BONE, but with T BONE is just perfect. I have 10 T BONE and 5 DPA 4099 and they mix together perfectly

Very versatile bit of kit, the construction is a bit flimsy however, having said that it hasn’t broken yet

- it offers an acceptable attachment
- it can be used for both the violin and alto

Used at church for violins and violas. Clip works well, but you can easily lose the small screw. Have had this happen once, and had to order another one!

Also can be fixed to Viola (Alto).

Well made and compact.
Seems very sturdy when used and performers have remarked how unobtrusive they are in comparison to other types they've used.
