I'm editing my review for this product.

Overall value is great, genuinely very low noise (used for field recordings) and so I am very happy with that.

I'm now on my 2nd set as the first set has a type of pink noise in one of the mics. Within 2 days of using the replacement, the exact same thing happened. Shame as they really suited my needs and budget.

Hopefully these issues won't occur with other people's purchases.

Good when they work

I use these mics as overheads for my drumkit and while they certainly sound good (crispy trebles and ballanced mids) and fulfill their purpose well, I've been having recurring problems with one of the mics from the pair developing a loud, wind-like noise after over the course of a few weeks from the first usage. Unfortunately, the problem has occurred so far with three pairs of microphones, so either it's my extremely bad luck or they carry some sort of design flaw that makes them develop a fault over time.

It is then hard for me to say they whether I'd recommend them or not - if you get a well-functioning pair, you end up with decent sounding overheads for a relatively low price with a solid carrying case, but if you're unlucky and get a lemon, you might have to return them.

Works okay if you need an inexpensive balanced stereo set. The package is very complete, containing a case, shock absorbers en popfilters. Nice.
Noise level is adequate, but not super. Sometimes there is an oscillating sound coming through from the phantom power.

Good for overheads

I buy them for overheads on live gigs. As overheads mics
they work perfectly. I did not use them in the studio, because my Rode NT2a with tube amp amplifier works better.
Shock mounts seems very plastic and not very reliable. But for now they work.
I like hard case for set:-)

These small diaphragm condensors are ok for the money, but not a great sound. Moved on to more expensive mics before long.
