I use this Drum in Sound therapy groups were my clients find the power in the Ocean sound very relaxing and takes them into a deeper state of meditation. The bonus is that it is also very good when used with a mallet/ beater , again adding more power to group sessions once you get the hang of balancing the drum on your knee. All round a fantastic addition to my growing instruments from Thomann which are all of great quality.

An amazing ocean drum. It's like you close your eyes and are hearing the waves surrounding you. Gorgeous. And I love that I can play it 2 ways... like the ocean drum, and make the water sound or as a drum, with my hands/fingers or with a mallet.

Love this ocean drum. Absolutely beautiful realistic sounds of the ocean. I use this in my gong and sound baths and always get great feedback about this instrument.

A bit too big, craftsman ship not so perfect

The structure is more oval than circle. And the sound is louder than expected. The uneven structure makes it challenging to play. maybe the one I got was like this, I wish I had send it back
