A bit flimsy but works ok

It looks like a solidly made piece of kit on first glance, the first time I used one however I plugged it into both pedals, sat them back onto the velcro of my pedalboard and one side of it popped off revealing a very simple wired connection within! I quickly took it out of both pedals while being very careful with the wired connection inside and reinserted the side into the body, thankfully it popped back in without too much trouble and after pressing it in quite firmly it seems a bit more sturdy than originally!

Hopefully this is just a one off and the others will be properly attached!

Sound
Given how thin the internal wire was I'm not overly hopefuly of the sound these will convey but I'll give them a go...

Conclusions
They are cheap and as long as you're careful they're probably going to be ok, I suspect that the slightly more expensive option may be better quality...

A space-saving alternative to patch cables
Alex Mik. 21.02.2014
If you're using a lot of effect pedals (and you can never have enough pedals ;) ), your pedalboard inevitably grows and grows and managing the space on your board becomes more important. Since less space for cables means more space for your pedals, you should consider giving this little adapter a shot. By using a few of them instead of cables, I managed to fit one more pedal on my board. However, they're not as flexible as cables, so depending on where the input/output jacks of your pedals are and where you place them on your board, you might not be able to connect them with each other. The adapter also isn't too sturdy, so you should make sure your pedals are fixed in place to avoid any loose contacts.

Good thing is that if pedals get extreme force where they would bend input jacks this adapter will break apart first, saving the pedals. Cons is that it has really really thin wires inside and isn't very heavy duty made, however does it's job just fine.

Good and does the job, but...
Myna 28.12.2018
... their problem is the lack of flexibility: use them ONLY on pedals that have the exact same size and dimension, otherwise you might find it hard to adapt them just by turning them sideways...

Gimmicky but good on a budget
Anonymous 27.01.2016
If you're looking to save room on your pedal board then these are a good idea. They take less space than the straight connectors and work better when you're connecting different branded pedals.

It can be difficult to move pedals once connected if you use these and the worry can be that you may damage the inputs trying to pull out a pedal.
Fairly good value for money.

Ok for the price
Tobias aus S. 15.08.2014
It's absolutely OK for the cheap price! If you want to connect simple effects, it works. I had no problems for the following pedals:
Boss ODB-3
Boss Limiter Ls2
Korg Pitchblack
etc.
With complex pedals like
Boss SYB
Boss DD7
EHX BigMuff
etc. one cannot really mount this adapter since the jacks are on a bad position or too close to each other.

More useful than the perfectly straight version
Brys 08.02.2015
This is very useful -- it allows you to place different pedals very close together. I was surprised that a lot of the difference provided by the offset is used to correct vertical alignment, rather than the horizontal alignment difference that I expected.

One of the plates (with a jack attached) is held in only by friction. This is fine once the pedals are on your board and locked down by velcro. Unfortunately when you're moving them around to set them up, the jacks act as levers and can twist the plate out of position. It all pushes back in, and it didn't break the connection for me, but it is still a little off putting.

Useful but flimsy
Anonymous 28.02.2017
Very useful little adapter. Particularly because of the 'Z' shape of the connectors, it allows different heights of pedals to be connected with ease. I have two and on one of them the casing has become unglued, easily fixed though.

Useful, but limiting
Andres K. 19.04.2016
These things are super useful for connecting pedals on a packed pedalboard but they do limit your ability to change the layout. Since they form a rigid line of pedals, you have to lift the entire thing if you want to change just one of the pedals. Also, because the plugs are slightly off-set, they force pedals to certain position of each other.

With The right pedals it's alright
Fredric 17.06.2014
Even if the idea and the quality is good, you really need to match this with the right stomp boxes. Some of the pedals out there doesn't have the jack in a perfect 90 degrees angle from the floor, thus making two pedals side by side wooble.
