Thomann Banjo Gigbag

This case provides great protection for my banjo. I have used it for well over a year now and it is still in perfect condition. Nothing has happened to my banjo while in the case and it is very well travelled. The pocket has enough space to carry everything I need.

This is a solid, serviceable gig bag for a banjo. While it's not going to protect an instrument from abuse or a serious mishap, it works fine for everyday care and carrying, especially if you're careful with your instrument. The zippers are good quality and the shape fits the Dean electric banjo I have perfectly.

I bought this for use with an Irish bouzouki. If you want to do that, measure your instrument first to make sure it will fit. The padding is nice and firm and there's plenty of space in the outer pocket. The zips are good and chunky, but might need a rub with candle wax or a pencil to make sure they run smoothly. The rubber base is a sensible addition. There are better gigbags out there, with neck supports and even more padding, but they're also much, much more expensive. This is easily the best quality option I've found for the price.

Maybe not the most protective gig back ever, but for the purpose of play at home or local gigging it's just great. Nice pocket in the front for storing strings & well padded throughout.

It's not so well padded on some places and the pocket it's not so useful for papers. Still, for the price is a really good option.

If you are looking for a basic gig bag to protect your banjo, then this is just the job. The bag is quite spacious, has a large zipped pocket for accessories and provides a decent level of padded protection.
