Big improvement
CJVDO 20.03.2022
I bought this stand for my SP5600 when I finally had the space for it.
To begin, aesthetically it's way better than the X shaped stand I used before this.

On personal note, this stand solved the biggest issue I had with my SP5600 keyboard. Unfortunately I wasn't able to do endless notes/sustain on the keyboard. As soon as I raised my hands (foot on sustain pedal) the notes would just always fade away slowly. (I do not exclude the possibility that this was actually possible, but I never found that option)
However, This stand solved that problem for me and that was a massive plus for me.

As other people states as well, transportation can be a thingy. I decided not to use the screws, so I can take the keyboard easily of the stand and move it to my working desk in the next room. that method has worked well for me.

I'm really happy I added this to my keyboard!

Missing cross-dowels
michaeljtbrooks 28.12.2021
I've been rather let down by Thomann on this one. The stand was missing the cross-dowels necessary for fastening it together. The bolts were all present, just the four missing cross-dowels. So this "stand" is still a flat-pack for now.

Otherwise it's nice high-density chipboard with decent thick plastic melamine.

Thomann, please sort out your packaging QA.

Nice and heavy
Anonymous 21.09.2015
The stand is really a good quality product. Stable, heavy (it is not easy to overturn accidentally), the surface finish perfectly completes the piano itself. Assembly is very easy, all I needed was only a size 2 Phillips screwdriver (size 1 works also, but loosy, easy to harm the slot). Although there are only two size of screws, the manual switches them. It is not a tragedy, but it made me wonder for a second, why I can not see the screw on the other side of the side panel when I put it in the hole. The long ones belong there. Pedals are functioning as intended.

Overall I did not expected this great quality, I am really surprised.

Value for money

This is a good piece of furniture. For the price.

Having built a lot of furniture, the finish on this is not very good to be honest. It's just OK. It does go well with the Thomann DP-26 piano and it is stable even on my carpeted floor. The pedals work well also.

Bottom line, if you want something that looks really good, well this is probably not it. But for the price, it is definitely recommended.

r
sturdy stand for DP-26
redjon 10.03.2019
I started off using a foldable stand, which is fine for portable use.
If you want to hit the bass or treble keys a bit harder, then it's probably better to have a sturdy stand like this.

It looks good with the piano, fits perfectly, and is really easy to assemble. You also get 3 pedals.

It could be included with DP26 by default
Marcin El 09.06.2020
All pedals work as expected,
I'd say if you don't plan to travel with your piano much, that should be mandatory buy.

Previously used my piano with travel stand and kept kicking it. It also wasn't looking good in my living room.
With this stand all those problems went away.

All I Wanted Was the Foot Pedals
Larry_A 24.04.2023
Pro: This had the foot pedals that the SP5600 keyboard didn't come with!

Con: Mighty heavy and inconvenient to move around so I removed the foot pedals from this massive structure. However the pedal cable is a bit exposed as a result. Luckily my niece will not be using pedals for awhile so that gives me time to consider how to protect the cable and keyboard connection.

Great for its intended purpose
stobbsyboy 26.09.2016
Bought this stand as it was a similar design to a gear4music variant at a better price, fitted the g4m piano perfectly and works, pedals do exactly what they're supposed to. Assembly was very straight forward despite a couple of screws labelled the wrong way on the instructions, very stable and even the entire completed unit with piano is very lightweight and very compact, so easy to transport and find a place for the piano in your house, as well as taking it to gigs, although if you do not wish to use this stand at a gig then the screws are very simple to remove and detach the piano leaving this stand behind, highly recommend it along with the piano it is intended for.

Feels more like a piano
Cathal-G 12.07.2024
I initially used my DP-28 on a foldable metal stand, while this functioned, the piano moved when using keys at each end.

The stand really completes the unit and makes it stable when playing. in addition the three foot pedals add capability. it's very easy to assemble and fit to the DP-28

Only good if you never move the piano
Greggggggg 18.08.2020
This is a CHEAP way to give your keyboard the pedals required for a piano setup. If you don't ever move the piano it will be suitable. The wire that connects the two together is very thing and can easily be snapped. The actual unit is not very sturdy.
