The compact allrounder

The Thomann DP-33 is an elegant, compact digital piano that is not only for beginners. With its elegant housing, the piano - which is available in black or white - is a real eye-catcher no matter what the occasion. What is more, its inner values make a convincing case. In terms of keyboard and sound, the DP-33 offers pianists of all ages everything they need for practice and inspires their creativity with its comprehensive features. The DP-33 offers an elegant, affordable, and good-sounding alternative to an acoustic piano, and not only where the latter would be too big, too loud, or too expensive.

Thomann DP-33 WH Compact Digital Piano

Just a killer keyboard

The DP-33 offers a full-fledged, velocity-sensitive keyboard with a real hammer mechanism. This ensures a high-quality playing feel that is similar to that of a concert grand piano. The touch dynamics can be adjusted in several steps to suit your personal taste. In Split mode, the keyboard is split into two sections, and Dual mode allows you to overlay two different sounds. The DP-33 also provides further important practice features in the form of a built-in metronome and 60 onboard practice and demo tunes.

More than a piano

The 26 sounds of the DP-33 include grand piano sounds as well as other instruments such as electric pianos, organs, and strings. In this way, the DP-33 invites you to experiment - some songs simply sound better with an electric piano sound than with an acoustic one. The sounds can be refined with the integrated reverb and chorus effects, and an equaliser is also on board. The powerful speakers ensure a rich sound. And in case you want to avoid making too much noise, you can practice at any time without disturbing your neighbours or flatmates thanks to the two headphone outputs.

About Thomann digital pianos

Thomann-brand instruments, which are exclusively built by renowned manufacturers, now constitute a large part of Thomann’s product range alongside numerous big-name brands. With unbeatable price-performance ratios, Thomann digital pianos are the obvious first choice for students and beginners – and others too. The technical features and uncompromising sound quality they offer are usually reserved for much more expensive instruments found in the professional market segment.

Always a great connection

In addition to the headphone outputs, the DP-33 offers other connection options that allow you to use it in various ways. Via the AUX input, you can easily play music from an audio player or a smartphone - which makes practising twice as fun! The stereo output enables a connection to an external amplifier system or a recorder. And the DP-33 will even get along fine with a computer: The integrated USB port sends and receives MIDI data, which means that the digital piano can be used together with music software. And if you're into experimenting, the DP-33 offers you a wide range of possibilities that facilitate practising and boost your creativity.

Great piano for everyone
Anna4 22.01.2022
I was looking for a good priced piano, that also a good quality has for my son. He needed a real piano ASAP, otherwise his teacher couldn’t go on with piano lessons with him. I have tried to find a second hand one, but they were either too expensive or/and poor quality.
And I remembered about Thomann and thought just to give it a try.
This one caught my attention, because I was looking for something that has not so many features, otherwise my son will end playing DJ on it ;). Of course he already knows and found all of them, but that’s another story.
The white version was a good choice also, as we don’t have too much space and the pano looks great and didn’t “steel” to much from the room.
The sound is really great and pleasant.
I succeeded to build it up by my own, which is another plus for us.

I really recommend this piano, for the good price/quality rate. It is a piano for the entire family, from the beginners to advanced!

Feels like a piano! But it´s not much more than that.
Sons do sótão 18.08.2024
I got this for my daughter to learn. I´m not a piano player (I play guitar), but I had some fun with it! Love the sound, the keys feel very realistic, and has some conectivity features that seem to be interesting... I truly believe it´s a good instrument for beginners or for someone who wants to have a home piano.

W
a great, small electric piano.
WojciechB 31.07.2015
I bought this piano for my daughter to practice (she is a beginner) and for that, it is an excellent product. I am not an expert, but to me, for what it costs and for it's size, the piano is an ideal product for any beginner. The sound is clear and very natural. We have tested several more expensive products and once this piano arrived we did not regret the decision of buying it. The piano sounds really good and it can be loud as well if needed. The operation is simple. This piano does not have 1000's different tones but this is actually a very good thing. Another very good thing is that the piano is very compact so it does not take much space and when the lid is closed, it can act as a some sort of desk. Our daughter has it in her room and plays often using headphones although I must say that the headphones provided with the' bundle' are quite poor quality so we had to throw them away. The other slight negative is that the power plug is continental one so I had to purchase a UK converter - not a big deal but I was not expecting this.
The customer service is very good. Our piano had a fault and was replaced quickly without any problems. Thomann responded to my emails quickly and professionally and replaced the piano within a week.

N
Amazing value
Nick666 27.12.2019
Bought this for my daughter as the cheap keyboard she was using for her lessons was no longer up to the job.

Cannot believe how much value can be got for this price. The keys feel really nice and the form factor is so compact that we've easily added a full range keyboard to our house without losing a lot of space.

To top it all, it looks fantastic!

The only criticism I'd have is that the speakers are kind of average and I haven't been able to use the audio out to hear it through my monitors. Just isn't working. It still sounds perfectly fine though through the speakers..

I also find that the intonation sounds a little off at the lower keys which is obviously strange as it's digital.

All in all a fantastic buy for the price. I ordered this way too close to Christmas but Thomann did not let me down.

Very pleased, highly recommend.
