Stylish and versatile

With its matt black finish, the Thomann DP-51 B is not only a real gem in any living room, it also knows how to impress with its inner values. With many features and functions you’d normally only find in much more expensive models, it is a classy and versatile replacement for an acoustic piano and much more besides. Outstanding here is the price-performance ratio: A great sound, a high-quality keyboard, and many modern functions at a fair price.

Thomann DP-51 B

Perfect for beginners and advanced users

With its 40 tones, which include many other instruments such as organs, electric pianos, strings, and wind instruments in addition to various grand piano sounds, the DP-51 B offers a wide variety and inspires the creativity of pianists of all ages. There are several functions to ensure easy practice, such as the integrated metronome, the recording function for five of your own songs, and the Dual, Split, and TWINOVA modes for combining several tones or dividing the keyboard. And don’t worry, good sound is always guaranteed, no matter if it is quiet or loud: The DP-51 B not only has two powerful loudspeakers, it also features two headphone outputs, through which you can play as quietly as a whisper - even four-handed!

Thomann DP-51 B, Klaviatur von oben

Every note is a delight

A real highlight of the DP-51 B is its keyboard. With a hammer mechanism, adjustable touch sensitivity, and an ivory feel coating for great grip, it offers a high-quality and authentic playing feel that both beginners and advanced players will appreciate. With three sensors per key, the tri-sensor technology ensures a fine and precise response - regardless of whether you are performing a piano sonata or a boogie-woogie. Thanks to its 128-voice polyphony, the DP-51 B masters even challenging arrangements with ease - even if you make generous use of the three grand piano pedals.

Thomann DP-51 B, Anschlüsse

Extremely adaptable

The DP-51 B includes 60 built-in rehearsal pieces from various genres. During playback, the left and right hands can be muted separately so you can play them yourself. Another way to practise with playback is to play music from a music player or smartphone through the digital piano's AUX input. There is also an auxiliary output, providing a connection to an amplification system or a recorder. And the DP-51 B is also compatible with computers: It has both MIDI inputs and outputs as well as a USB port so that it can be easily used together with your computer's music software.

Superb Service & Value
Fender69 06.04.2021
The Thomann team were superb in helping me choose a product.
Buying for my daughter who needed something more than she had for continuing lessons, I had originally chosen a more expensive item. However, in contact with the team, they suggested I consider this item instead, and Im glad I did.
Not only did they save me money, but they made sure I did not pay for features I would not need at this stage of her music.
The quality of the piano and housing is superb. Beware - this is a HEAVY item, so will need 2 to assemble.
The sound from the speakers is adequate, but there are audio outputs that allow you to amplify if needed. Bear in mind, the weight and housing mean you wont be moving this very far!
This has been an excellent purchase, and has many features a more expensive branded model may or may not have.
And it is perfect for our needs at this point.
Thanks again for the teams support and advice too.

C
Sorprendido con el sonido y las caracteristicas.
ChristianFer92 16.08.2022

Simplemente 10/10

P
Piano Sound is just bad, Key action is worse than Cheaper Piano. No Midi USB function.
Peter_George 16.07.2022
SIMPLY BAD, I did make the wrong choice thinking that a cheap Piano would still have a good sound, and the problem is it is not so cheap. paying 650 euros here is Germany is not so little. The Piano hammer action is just bad, and the tri-sensor is a scam. a Pianist might think it is three sensors for the hammer, no it is just a good old fashion cheap one sensor with the option to adjust the sensitivity from 3 levels. this is a scam. I feel I have lost those 650 euros, highly unrecommended.
Above all that, the Midi and USB function simply doesn't work, and the midi driver is no where to be found on the internet, and it is impossible to connect it to a new computer. simply a bad decision from my side. so do not repeat the mistake.

JI
Excellent piano
Jen Ireland 23.03.2021
Was unsure about buying a Thomann own brand piano but this one is an excellent model. Cannot fault it at all apart from the fact that sometimes you might not get any sound on certain keys - it is likely because the key is not depressed properly or something as I would be used to playing on a real piano with a bit more sensitivity I guess. Apart from that (which is not too common) it is a great piano and for the price - well, you cannot go wrong!
