I guess it does the job.

I bought this for my Fender Am Perf P-Bass,
Pros:
+The bass fits!
+Seems to protect the guitar from physical damage, as well as light rain.
+Pastic is pretty hard.
+The handle isn't that bad (this worried me when buying it in the first place)
+Looks very nice from both the outside and the inside

Cons:
-Buckles sometimes don't line up, so it's sometimes not as simple as just closing it and buckling it up, you have to pull the whole top part with a bit of force to one side (might be just a manufacturing glitch)
-very little space for anything really (i can fit two cables, a tuner, a strap and little things, however my GT-1B cannot fit in the side compartments, it can only go under the head of the bass and I don't want it to scratch)
Some subjective additions that I'd take into mind before buying:
1) This is a pretty heavy case + the bass it really does weigh a ton, so be ready to switch out those arms every 5 minutes of walking
2) This is a one-case-fits-all - there will be wiggle room for the body, but it isn't as bad as you'd think.
3) The locking mechanism is useless. It might deter children from touching your guitar, though anything more than that... it cannot do.

Would I recommend buying this case?
- Yes, if you want to protect your bass, this is a pretty good bang for the buck. No, if you have to walk for a long time to gigs or rehearsals with your 50$ bass.

A solid case with minor shortcomings
Pelicashka 22.11.2022
I bought this case for my new Squier Bass VI. The case does indeed fit this instrument, however one would have to make sure the upper strap button on the Squier digs into the case separator a bit. Thankfully, the "plush" is soft enough to give in a make a place for it.

Closing the case I can feel and hear the lid rubbing against the lower part of the case. Not a big deal.

The material of the shell, which is some kind of a plastic, feel sturdy enough, but it's a bit soft, so I wouldn't put anything on top of this case.

However, all in all, considering the price, overall build quality, look and feel, I would recommend getting this case.

Great quality at a reasonable price
Fred \\\"12th Fret\\\" Anson 22.03.2023
I own two of these cases and I couldn't be happier with them. They are rugged, well-made cases.

The only thing that you should be aware of (and the reason why I didn't give the case a full 5-star rating) is that there isn't a cover for the stowage compartments, but that was easily fixed by simply putting my tuner and other loose items into mesh stuff bags.

But that's a minor annoyance for such a great case! I suspect that you will love this case as much as I did.

Solid design but a little flimsy
JakeEm 12.10.2022
The case overall is pretty good for the price, but it is a little flimsy compared to other hard cases. You can push on the top and bend the hard plastic in a fair bit. The inner layering is actually very nice and keeps the bass snug and secure. So, for the price it aint too shabby for a hard case.

Thomann E-Bass Case ABS
Poopzy 21.02.2014
The Thomann E-Bass Case ABS is a really good Case. I dont want to spend so much money for an E-Bass Case, so I decided to order the Thomann E-Bass Case. The Case is really lightweight so you can transport your E-Bass easily and safe! The handling is really good for an E-Bass Case in this price-section and there is enough space beside the E-Bass to insert other things like your instrument cable, picks, your strap, lyrics or anything you want. I recommend this E-Bass Case to everyone who wants to protect their instrument, but dont want to spend to much money for an expensive E-Bass Case.

Get the Thomann E-Bass Case ABS!

PH
Does fit left handed Fender Jazz, with slight modification
Paul Head 29.06.2021
I read heaps of reviews trying to figure out whether a left-handed Fender Jazz Bass would fit into this case or not and I read that it would. Well, I ordered it and when received it wouldn't quite fit because of the strap-pin. So my solution was to dent-in the the problem area with my thumb and also the guitar itself (used some force). It fits perfectly now, and have only given the case 4 stars because there is no reason at all for the guitar case interior to not be totally symmetrical and thus perfect for both right-handed and left-handed guitars.
The interior is black and furry, so your slight modification to it is not noticeable.
This is a good case, and if you buy this and you're putting a left handed Jazz in...don't panic and return it, just reform the problem area and all is well, fits like a glove...honestly!

Very Nice Case!
Jizzle4 25.04.2023
I have used this for about a year now, and it is still working perfectly, the only thing is you should make sure the clasps are lined up properly as they can hook onto the rim rather than the actual clasp and that can bend the shell slightly.

But this is mostly user error from a very busy bassist haha, so I still rate it highly
