Thomann E-Guitar Case Tweed

I bought the case a couple of years back for my Mexican Stratocastor. The main issue I have with the case is that it is not the correct size. It is about half a foot (six inches) too long for my guitar. This means the head and base of the guitar can continually bang of the interior of the case. I have also tried it with a squire Telecaster but the issue is the same. I still use the case but only with some felt at the top to stop the guitar from moving in the case.

Other than this it would have veen a perfect case. It is quite heavy and durable which is exactly what I wanted and includes a couple of keys for locking. However, the main issue means this is somewhat irrelevant as it was specifically advertised as for stratocastor guitars.

It is a very sturdy and good vase, plastic “leather“, real tweed, solid workmanship, robust and very good looking.
Why I sold it?
Foul, evil, hellish smell that went away after 2 months of laying opet at the try attic, 2 months of airing in the sunlight. In the meantime, my guitar was still laying in the closet, waiting for the stinky glue to evapotare from the case, so I lost the patience and sold it cheaply.
If Thomann could guarantee me that they have solved the stinky glue problem, I would buy it again, because of quality and price, But the odour is impossible to endure. A pity.
