Pretty okay, I guess
Anonymous 01.03.2017
This was my very first guitar hard-case that I bought along with a Squier Telecaster. It is considerably good for its price, especially if you have several model guitars that require different amount of space, however there were some minor issues that I had with it.

Pros.
1. Easy to handle. Does not seem heavy, so carrying around is a breeze.
2. Has a lot of space and was able securely carry around several types of guitars - Telecaster, Les Paul, Ibanez shaped.

Cons.
1. The case started to get a bit loose overtime. When closed, it was possible to slightly move the top half. This of course could have been my fault, considering I was carrying this around to rehearsals and took it with me when I was on tours, but still was a bit odd that the covers started to become loose, so soon - around 4 months after I bought it.
2. Not good with moisture and dirt - hard to clean. It is understandable that dirt and liquids (rain, water, spilled drink, etc.) got on to the case, however it was impossible to clean it afterwards. The material that the body of the case is made of got dirty quite quickly and trying to scrub it off made it wars.

In conclusion. It is pretty alright for its price - handy, suitable for different types of guitar models, but it wears down quite quickly. It depends on whether or not you are planning to take the case on tours. For shows and rehearsals its good, but for longs periods of time on the road - not so much.

I
very nice... eeh kinda.
Iannnis 08.01.2018
hmm, tweed. always wanted one of these. i bought this for a tele cabronita. at 1st glance, looked proper. at closer inspection though, there were staples sticking out all over it, and two of the corners on the case looked mangled liked they had been in a train wreck. inside, there was some kind of invoice which stated that it was a returned product, defected, and not for sale!!! when informed of this, thomann offered to exchange it, and i was going to do just that, but i fell ill and before i knew it, the month had passed so it was to late to send it back. oh well it still works, but looks extremely used. other than that, everything is honky dory.
pros:
looks the part, nice red velvet interior, large enclosed accessory compartment.
cons:
the above mentioned

Nice enough
GiovanniD 09.10.2014
It's a nice case, the build quality is good enough for the price, but beware: I would not recommend this particular case (or any other cheap case in the same price tag) if you are using it for an expensive guitar, as there is some spacing left when I put my guitar in, and this allowed the guitar to move a bit while travelling. Anyways, I solved the problem by using some cleaning rags around the guitar, so you can actually move around the issue and solve it, if you really are on a budget.
Apart from this, I have to honestly say that the esthetic value is all there, the finish is nice, build quality doesn't look cheap at all, and the tweed effect is there too. The yellowish color is warm enough, maybe not so good as the fender tweed color, but at this price is a small difference that I won't notice at all. Good product for the price.

Looks the part, weights a ton!
Anonymous 05.06.2015
Got this for my left-handed 1978 Fender Stratocaster, and it works a treat! It's the only tweed case I have, and it looks fantastic. More importantly, it does the job and protects my guitar. The only drawback is that it's mostly made of wood, and it's quite heavy. The guitar isn't light either (as you find with many late 70s Fenders), and the two together are quite a load. As much as I love the way the case looks, if I had it to do over again, I probably would have gone for something made out of ABS plastic. Still, for something to keep the Strat in at home, it's perfectly adequate. Also, tweed probably wouldn't stand up to as much road use as ABS or Tolex.

Reasonable considering cost
Trubshaw 11.06.2014
This case is not bad for the money - when compared to some Fender examples that I have seen in Denmark Street for nearly a ton, it scores very well - some of the metal fittings are a little cheap and sharp - don't look too close - but so were some of Fenders! This particular one came with damage to the front and rear edges and the bottom - how did that get passed quality control? They looked like staple holes - but there were no corresponding holes in the packaging - strange. However Thomann were very good about it and offered compensation. The case looks authentic, quite cool really and offers good protection. Strats or teles fit in well enough not to move about in transit. I was quite pleased overall.

Great case, but the smell...
Sergey T 18.12.2020
It is great case. It is solid and it is cheap. the problem is the smell inside of plush. You can't get rid of it! I tried everything. Even put coffee there... Nothing helps. But at the the I got used to it and now my guitar smell like plush too.

This case is Ok, it does smell a little poor quality and it doesn't look like a real tweed close up , but it does what it is supposed to do, it says Thomann on it which I removed, it left an ugly mark on the case. they are cheaply made and feels a little cheesy, probably made in China. it is a tweedcase but it is not a high quality tweed case, but it fills the function carrying the guitar in a safe way, so I will only approve it for that. but just barely.

Use it for storage.
Buckley 30.10.2017
Unfortunately this is the second Thomann case I have purchased that isn't really fit for purpose. I am happy to store a guitar in this, however I would not be happy to transport it in this. The guitar in question, is an American Deluxe Strat. Once all sealed in there the guitar wobbles. I can't see where it is wobbling, but if I hold the handle (so that its not the handle making noise) then I shake the case, I can hear thumping.

This does not happen with the original fender case I have for the guitar. As the Fender case is slimmer and holds the guitar firmly. You may wonder why I replaced it? Well, long term, Its gotten a bit grotty, so I need a new case to keep said guitar in good condition, with the additional use of this new clean case and fibre-less cloths.

Anyway, if you carry this Thomann case you can hear the guitar banging against the inside of the case. This is the same situation I have with a case that was recommended to me for a Harley Benton SC-CUSTOM. Again, I just use the case for storage.

So thats my opinion, buy one as they are affordable and suitable for home storage. Don't if your out and about gigging a lot or your probably going to have to throw all sorts in there to stop the guitar from moving in the case.

One pro would be is it looks like the neck is the most secured part of the guitar.
