Thomann E-Guitar Case BK Wood
The case was delivered promptly and well packed, unfortunately when I opened the case I discovered one of the catches was flopping about and wouldn't stay closed.
There is a little piece of spring steel in the latches that applies just enough spring tension to keep them closed and it was missing from one of the latches so the latch just flops about and rattles.
The other latches do stay closed but only just, they don't inspire confidence.
Inside the case was full of debris, lots of saw dust and a it looks like a bag of silica has burst open and the little granules are throughout the soft lining.
I emailed the Thomann International Hotline and next day had a reply from customer Thomann International Sales saying they would forward the issue to Thomann Customer Services and I should also contact them directly which I did.z
A week later and I haven't heard anything so I emailed Paganini and again had a reply from Thomann International Sales saying the same thing, they can't help and I need to speak to Thomann Customer Services so I sent another email.
It's now been two weeks and I contacted them again and asked if the matter could be forwarded to someone higher up and again ingot the same reply from Thomann International Sales saying they can't do anything and I need to speak to Thomann Customer Services.
Now I don't what way Thomann are set up ,if everybody is under the same roof, in the same building or if they are in different location but I expect that these departments have a better chance of communication with another Thomann department than I have so after two weeks I would expect any Thomann department to see the Thomann customer service is not as it should be and act to help resolve a problem for a customer by contacting the appropriate department and making sure they attended to it.
I have used Thomann before and the service is great when there isn't a problem with the order but in the case it is just appalling customer service after very poor quality control.
Two weeks after receiving my order I still don't a usable item and Thomann haven't even tried to resolve the problem, I certainly don't feel like trusting them a more expensive order.
Sadly infant recommend the case or Thomann after this.
