This is a sturdy enough bag and strap for carrying and I bought it to protect from scratches. However there is no padding and I kind of wish I had paid a bit more for a padded bag. As I recall the price difference is large and this does the job, to be fair.

This tote bag for the EV Everse 8 is not what I'm used to from Thomann.
The quality isn't great, the lid has only one piece of Velcro to secure it.
This can lead to the speaker being exposed to rain. Securing the lid with a zipper like the JBL tote Bag would have been a much better idea.
