I bought this to carry a medium bore straight tenor trombone and have used it for both my Conn 6H and my Rath R10. It's a great case and very solidly built. The blue colour is attractive and I've had lots of compliments from other players.
It comes with quite clanky metal clips holding on the backpack part which are reinforced with some loops - I took the loops off as they got in the way and I didn't understand what they were for. I have to remember to tighten the carabiners periodically.
The case itself is nice quality inside. The slide is held in the lid by a padded shelf and a velcro strap. The bell section in the bottom is held in place by a velcro strap. This seems really long; it doesn't hold the bell section down in a straight tenor, but I suppose would retain it from falling on the floor. I may one day add more velcro.
The 6H shifts up and down a bit in the bottom but it's all well padded. The R10 fits perfectly.
Overall I'm very pleased with this. It's a little heavy and straps are a bit clunky - but always will be on a hard case - but its very strong and survives the rain! Most importantly it protects my trombone and I can throw it on my back, and it looks very cool.
