bad tuned

Flute bad tuned (makeby without tech proof), I was self dismount a mouth piece and cut pipe 2,5 mm. After that tune was better, but precission of tuning (cuting holes) is not perfect. You can buy this flute (low costs) only for learning low whistle play, not for play with band and records. For professional play buy two parts steel low whistle. :)

I
Woefully out of tune
Ilkka 16.06.2014
This is a cheat flute, but it sounds quite good and consistent through the range. The second octave is easily obtained. So what's not to like?

The one I got was - and is - about a quarter note flat, and there's no way to tune it, so it is all but unusable in ensemble playing.

Too bad, it could have been an unbeatable bargain.

Does exactly what it says it will do
Anonymous 16.01.2017
My brother wanted a Irish Flute for Christmas so seen this one and thought it might do. He is only starting to learn so did not see the point in purchasing a full flute. The price of this one seemed very good so decided to purchase.

I wanted a Irish Flute in the Key of D and that is exactly what I got. The Flute is plastic and to be honest looks a bit cheap but then again it is cheap! It comes with some very basic instruction on how to play which would be useful to an absolute beginner.

Overall a good product for the price and one which I'm sure my brother will make great use of.

Plastic

The flute has the benefits of being able to be played with first finger pads instead of second which helps tremendously when you have big hands like I do. The tone is good but feels as if something is lacking, it does not quite get there so to speak. All in all a very good flute to practice on and a good price.

Once again I bought this type of flute to see what it was like. Seems its the same design as the Indian E flute, only different! same plastic, bad fipple (warped). Save your money is my advice.

What do you expect, it's plastic
Niilo 06.01.2014
The sound more breathy and leaky than that of a proper low whistle. But at least this is not obviously plastic-looking, and it is playable and in tune and does not seem to react to temperature or humidity changes.
