'Standard' size MIDI socket for fitting to a rack panel or any other panel for that matter. Test plugging this to male DIN plugs feels nice and solid, material itself feels pretty solid so seems like it will be a great alternative to the more common sort of oval DIN sockets. This will also look nicer mounted nesxt to XLR or other panel mounted connectors.

Good MIDI Connector
I'mTheSoundGuy 23.10.2019
It's one of the few D-standard MIDI connectors, and it does it's job. Good soldering pins on the back and ok built quality. Used it in a rack panel to bring the midi connection from the back of an Avid Eleven Rack to the front for much easier connection.

Good MIDI connector
c-chavez 25.06.2023
This connector serves its purpose very well and is very inexpensive. Unfortunately you have to solder the back so that you can actually use it. I've soldered it to another cheap midi cable I had lying around, and use it in my band's rack. It's a great alternative to the more expensive MIDI connector that doesn't require any soldering, and serves the same purpose. If you are ok soldering, give it a try and save some eurs.
You can either solder the 5 wires, or just 3, since MIDI in general doesn't require them all (depending on the interface you will be connecting to).

Sturdy and clean design
Robert-Jon 25.05.2021
The mounting size for these is 18mm. The socket stays in place with a steel screw-on ring. The two holes provide extra security and keep the socket from rotating. Works as expected.

Fair quality, but the pins seems a bit loose. Don't know if it's something to worry about but it works fine.

It's Ok, but nothing more
EgoV 20.05.2018
If you need a MIDI socket in a neutrik D-shape it's a good choice.
Although the metal is a little bit thin.
It has good solder connections and the MIDI part is just as expected.

Does its job well.
dmaesilva 01.10.2019
Bought this to build a box to connect my Ironheart IRT60H and my Joyo PXL-PRO to be able to switch the amp's channels with only one tap.
Does its job! :)

Only D-style MIDI aux I was able to find
LocoNerdGeek 07.10.2020
Made of impact resistant plastic that at first thrown me off but I have virtually zero problrms with it. Used to make midi out/thru from my pedalboard to talk to my amp switching unit. It simply works and cost pennies

Great MIDI Socket!
Robert701 15.12.2016
I've been putting together a patch bay box for my pedal board which also has MIDI and bought this for installation to pass through and connect MIDI signal.
This socket is an excellent choice for replacement MIDI sockets or new construction.
Sturdy and well built with the perfect amount of grip to hold a cable but also plug and unplug with ease.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
