I can't really judge the sound, but what I can say is that the inside of the bansuri was very dusty, and had what appeared to be cobwebs - there was also a strong smell for the first few days that fortunately went away after a few days.

The only negative I can say is that it’s a little out of tune (about half a semitone off C). Built extremely well for its price and the sound is great. Holds up better than bansuris I have bought for triple the price. I can easily fix the out of tune problem by pitching the recording in my DAW. May even buy another one in the future.

I'm not a flutist and i cannot play well, but i've had a lot of fun with this one since i got it. It's very easy to get pleasant sounds from, and the fingerings are not complicated at all (a lot like tin whistle). Definitely gonna buy some in other keys later, they're a lot of fun to bring up in acoustic jams
