Thomann Orchestra Stand Deluxe

Good stability, good quality of production, but the iron sheet of top part is thin and prone to bending - for heavy duty and more weight better look for other product

I went for the deluxe model to get that extra bit of quality in my stand but unfortunately my stand is dead after only 1 year. The thread has gone in the screw that adjusts the angle of the head so now it just flops forwards with music on it. Obviously when it was new it did it's job fine although it could do with being able to adjust a little higher. Disappointed with the stand overall and will be buying K&M next time.

I got one to hold a folder and tablet, build quality is as expected but you really have to make sure you tighten things or it will droop backwards over time.

Simple and working orchestra stand. Though this one is not for a touring band. We have broken numerous on the road but as a stand for the rehearsal room it works fine.

I think this is a nice stand and it does what's it's supposed to do. I do, however, feel that the rest for the sheet music is a bit soft and gets deformed easily if you put preassure on it or bump into something. This is easy to bend back, but I'm not sure I think you should have to.
Other stands I have experience of is definately more sturdy, so I guess that, to some extent, this is a case where you get what you pay for. Good enough for home use, but not if you take it to a lot of gigs.

I was not that lucky in the product that I received, because I cannot tighten the screw to fasten the tripod and so every now and then the tripod slips and the stand becomes unstable. Otherwise, a good, robust stand.

As a music stand it does ok - the stand section is fairly lightweight so that's helpful - but at full stretch it isn't the most stable and the top holder flexes quite easily. So if it's just sheet music you have you'll be fine but if its larger books then you want to be sure you're on a stable surface. Overall I'm pleased with the product and would purchase again so the downsides are fairly minor
