Thomann E-Guitar Gigbag Premium BR

I’ve bought this bag to protect my guitar on an hours coach ride and about 20 flights worth of steps at my college each day so I don’t have to lug a hard case around with a guitar that weighs enough already. It is brilliant. It’s thick and well padded, absorbent of shocks and durable. The leather does not feel cheap and the straps are strongly constructed, which was a worry as usually cheap bags have rubbish straps but you can even zip these ones away to prevent them snagging on things like rails or leather coach seat arms. My only gripe is that the second front pocket (the larger one) is difficult to use without putting noticeable pressure on the guitar or the actual case itself. Beyond that, I have no faults to point out. I may update this review after about a month’s usage to verify if this holds true, but in all honesty I have good faith in this bag.

Firstly, I would like to say that I really enjoy using this gigbag, as I am more comfortable with gigbags than with cases.

First - let's talk about positive aspects. It feels very sturdy and extremely well built. All the handles seem to be stitched very nicely so really nothing will happen. It fits my 2001 Fender American Stratocaster nicely and I have been using it with others guitars like Harley Benton SC450Plus - works great as well. Up to this point really nothing has made me think about using another gigbag as it is really well padded and safe for all damage an average gigging musician might get it's instrument into.
Secondly, cons. It feels like carrying 3 guitars in a bag - is is extremely heavy and can be a bit unpleasant to use on straps on your back. It's fake leather feel like it might get scratched up really quickly if you are traveling in Public transportation.

All in all - I would recommend this to anyone who is willing to carry it and is not afraid of weight lifting. Good bag for a great price. No other gigbag in this price range has this amazing quality!
