Almost like a hard case
VR KillerB 22.02.2023
Massive protection for dreadnought size guitars (I use it for Epiphone Hummingbird). It can even hold 12 string OM size acoustic guitars. It has a 3mm side protection and even has extra protection to fix the guitar neck.
The leather-like plastic cover feels almost as real leather (expect the leather smell). The only downside is the weight. It's heavy as a hard case (or even heavier) .

Great value overall. Supreme protection
Haimon 09.10.2022
I bought it mostly to have the most protection my moneycan get and it does much more -

Great quality mostly
Nice roomy storage compartments
Built like a tank! Pretty much the closest you can get to a MONO bag it this price range.
Nice leather

Only 2 downsides -
1. When fastened all the way (for better back comfort) the shoulder pads are useless and basically the strap sits directly on the shoulder - quite uncomfy. I just keep it loose.

2. Internal lining is the cheapest material possible. Really disappointing compared to the rest of the bag.

Overall worth every penny, no bag in this price will outperform it 100%

This is sturdy. Too sturdy
Biteyourcigarette 11.12.2021
It is very very rigid. And huge. Guitar seats inside nicely but for my purposes it is even too bulky. Anyway I'm keeping it for its protective values

Great Bag but the shoulder straps will tear
MuseMizer 18.12.2023
Water resistant, light, fits everything I need for a gig in the front pouch. However, the shoulder strap(s) will tear over a relatively short period of time due to subpar stitching and choice of material.

e
Cool bag!! :D
exkaliber 13.09.2018
The gigbag looks like very nice rock style!
There is enough space for everything. The guitar is quite safe inside this case. Very good on holding and comfortable.
But....
The material is not very good. It's not so strong, so you have to be careful. It caught on a branch and got torn. I put a piece of leather on the torned place and it is okay. Fortunatelly there is protective material inside the caux-leather so the instrument is safe. I recpmmend it but with awareness.

Solidly made, good protection
Anonymous 24.11.2015
Well made, robust, and water resistant fabric. However, in the interest of improving the design and helping others I would note a couple of things.
If you are holding the bag by the side handle, the zips on the external pockets close on the downward side; consequently, if the pockets are not totally closed, your items can and will fall out... This could be easily remedied in manufacturing.
Note that this is made for big guitars, I had a 175 copy in it, with Bigsby, and there was plenty of room. The downside of this is that the plastic leatherette fabric can form creases, along the lines where it was folded in transit, and if not stretched out can crack within a few months. My first bag did this (and was replaced by Thomann), the second one I padded and stretched out for a few days before using, and it lasted a couple of years of daily use before the side handle and shoulder strap attachments tore.

C
Great bag that offers a lot of protection. A bit snug on a epiphone ej200sce
Colin1501 19.07.2015
Recently treated myself to a epiphone ej200sce and soon realised that I needed a decent bag to prevent it getting bashed. I don't really like hard cases as they take up too much room and the only gig bag I had didn't have any padding to speak of. This is just the ticket as it has tons of padding, it also a padded cradle thing that secures the neck fairly snugly although it could be a little tighter. It's got a nice big pocket at the front that should fit a couple of a4 size guitar books and couple of smaller pockets for pedals, tuners, spare strings etc. It's also pretty decent looking. Straps are pretty comfy and when they are not being used they zip into a little compartment to stop them catching on stuff. It's a little bit tight for my guitar but I think that's because of my big ass suede strap. Does fit, just need to arrange it right.

Pros** Price, Padding, Comfort, Looks.
Cons** Neck harness thing could be snugger.

I'm hoping that this a useful and detailed review so that thomann will send some vouchers my way!

Very good bag
Roy_vira 18.11.2019
For the price, a very good quality bag. You might end up seeing several of your musician pals with the same bag but i think that says it all. Practical and handy. I use it lot, when i can't be bothered with a stylish flight case or have to ride a bike to a gig.

A nice bag for the price
Wood & String 05.01.2021
I do admit that the features at this price point is
awesome. However the bag is such a monstrosity when
it comes to handling the bag. I'm an average size guy however the bag is soo big that it's tricky to handle. However I can't argue with the price as it is priced just right. My verdict: It's good for Dreadnuts, but be weary if you get anything smaller such as an OM.
