Perfect for 2 Elektron deveices
Anonymous 18.05.2016
This is what I pack in this bag

Main compartment
- Elektron Analog Four with PL-2 Cover
- Elektron Rytm with PL-2 Cover

Side poket (the big one)
- 2 x power supplied

Front pocket (big one)
- 2 x brightside E-RM wooden stands. That's 2 pairs
- 2 x elektron usb cables
- 2 x patch cables
- 1 midi cable

Top compartment (upper zip / lid)
- external harddrive
- Sennheiser HD 25 headphones

Yes, the 2 elektrons appear to fit tight in the main compartment, but they slide in comfortably. Once, just once the rubber padding came off one of the elektrons while pulling it out from the bag, but then i wasn't careful enough as I was in a hurry. But that's the only thing you need to take care of. As I see it, it's a rubber pad, you can stick it back :). I use the stands anyway, so the rubber pads are least of my worries.

For this price, compactness and durability, I haven't found anything better.

Great backpack, and not just for producers!
Schengis 26.06.2019
I bought this backpack for my mobile recording rig, but I ended up finding many other uses for it. This comfortably fits my laptop, interface (focusrite 2i4), midi controller (Akai MPK mini mkII), cables, mics, sustain pedal, and a mouse and numpad. Granted, it was stuffed to the brim, but the point is that everything that was necessary fit inside without feeling like i was going to crush anything.

The main pocket is the best. The padding is more than sufficient and the size makes it perfect for a business backpack too. Laptops, books, and papers fit perfectly and snugly (so not much risk of unwanted folds or wrinkles).

I also use this as a gig/instrument repair bag. I drum in my current band, but I'm also responsible for bringing extra equipment for emergencies or repairs (tools, cables, strings+winders, extra mics, picks, drum felts,). This bag makes it super easy to keep everything well organized and separated by function.

My only complaint is that it tends to stick out backwards quite a bit and I've accidentally hit a few people with it. It's not the most form-fitting backpack I've had, but it's meant to protect the contents.

Awesome little backpack.

Pack Your Bags

This wasn't exactly a planned purchase; I just thought it'd be handier to have a backpack to store all my accessories in instead of the usual shoe box. As a keyboardist I have a lot of them - a heap of cables, adapters, sustain/expression pedals, batteries, screwdrivers, duct tape etc. and I'm glad to say that I can fit them all in here, with room to spare. With a price as accessible as this it wasn't difficult to justify an impulse buy.

Needless to say, you can use this backpack for anything you'd like. There are lots of compartments - the main one can even take a 15-inch laptop, no problem. It isn't suitable for my Novation Bass Station 2 though so other users beware.

As for the build quality, there are some downsides. The zippers and straps especially are what I find lacking. The padding of the backpack, on the other hand, is surprisingly thick.

Can fit : Laptop, USB ball mouse, launchpad S, launch control, small mixer, several mic's , pop shield cables and power supplies with some room to spare.
Not waterproof but keeps off anything less than heavy rain, adequately padded to deal with knocks and bumps but I wouldn't expect it to survive being sat on.
So far its been the bag I get all my gear into for live work and studio time. fits comfortably and is not heavy when empty. Construction is very solid, none of the handles or zips feel flimsy, quite the opposite - I'd expect this should last a while.
Only have good things to say about this bag

Keeps everything safe
TommyCee 08.10.2019
This backpack works really well, plenty of pockets and two slots inside for midi keys and a laptop, great padding, everything is safe from harm.
On the down side larger headphones have nowhere to go and need to wedged in and the backpack lacks versatility if you want to use it for anything apart from producer gear because the divider inside is fixed.
It sits really well and is comfortable but unlike a normal backpack it is a large rectangular block on your back with a higher center of gravity than a normal backpack where the weight is more focused on the bottom.
Basically, great for keeping your gear safe and being mobile.

Unbelievable
Szymon 17.04.2018
Just amazing quality for amazing price.
I was thinking about spending 4 times more money on some top brands producing producer backpacks etc.
Luckly I have decided to try Thomann product before purchasing anything else.
I'm extremely happy I bought this. Really functional, lots of space inside and most important it protects your equipement inside. I had a chance to try this in light rain for an hour walking around town with my gear inside. I was little bit worried I will get my stuff flooded but hey... nothing happend. I highly recommend this backpack for every musician and producer, it's a must have espesscialy for ¤33!
Thank you Thomann!

S
I find this backpack perfect for the price.
Sergej1986 11.04.2021
I have been using this backpack for over a year. It always travels with me at my concerts. Until now, his condition is like new. I am very pleased with this purchase. Perhaps for someone it may turn out to be small, but for me its volume is quite enough. The backpack has a large number of different pockets, which makes me very happy and allows me to use it with comfort and convenience. Also, the backpack reliably protects the contents, it has thick and soft walls. It fell from a height several times, but everything inside remained intact. The quality of materials and fittings has proven its strength and reliability during this time. For me, only one detail was inconvenient ... This is the handle for carrying the backpack in my hands, it turned out to be the wrong balance and the shifted center of gravity. But I fixed it easily by attaching my handle to the metal mounts on the sides. This was not a big problem. I find this backpack perfect for the price. Very happy with this purchase! Recommend!

David McEvoy 18.02.2024
I recently bought the Headrush Core unit & have been in love with it, main reason was I play local gigs & use public transport , I wanted to slim down my gear for guitar & vocals so when I got the core I could not find a decent bag or backpack to carry it in, I bought this from Thomann & it fits life a glove , plenty of room for cables & accessories also, for the price it’s a no brainer

P
Very good value bag
Pacharan 24.03.2018
I use this to carry 2 folding instrument stands (to fit ubass), 3 cables, various spare batteries, 2 clip on tuners and a big book of sheet music to rehearsals and gigs. It's a bit of a squeeze with the stands but it does all fit in. It keeps everything organised in separate compartments, no more rooting about for a button cell battery that has fallen to the bottom of the music stand bag, or creased paperwork. I also like that it has a flat base and will easily sit upright without tilting over (unless something very heavy is put in lid compartment I guess, I haven't tested that). Various straps and handles make versatile enough to be carried in combo with other items and it seems robustly made. Compared to similar products it is very good value for money.
Delivery was within quoted time parameters too.
