Best for that price
Michael Poindexter 24.12.2020
I bought this piano a few weeks ago,and my firt impression was like:"Omg,is this for 154Eur?"
First of all, quality of the Digital Piano is really great,no suspicious sounds, when playing, keys are smooth, lightly wieghted as described.
Secondly, the sound is much more better than I thought it would be.
The speakers are loud enough for a medium room, sometimes it was too noisy,so i had to turn the sound down from maximum.
Basically it's Thomann SP-320,just wtihout 15 keys,it is the same.
I would recommend it for a beginner, although, better save up some money for DP-26,but if you don't want.or you have just enough money for that one,you won't be dissapointed.

Superb!
Peter R. 438 15.02.2022
So much quality for "not much money".
I'm not a gadget person, just wanted a piano/organ, nothing else, to play my music on in my spare time. This is certainly "up" to my expectations, maybe more than I expected at this price.
The sounds are awesome, clean and beautiful to my ears.
I have always been a musician/sound person, so I plug this into my house sound system often and enjoy the big & full sound of this keyboard. Another Thomann success for me.

s
unrealistic touch sensitivity
strawberrypuffpuff 13.06.2022
I bought this keyboard because it is lightweight and portable and I am gigging a lot these days. The sound, knobs, keys, action, polyphony is all fine (the best you will find at this price) but the deal breaker for me is the touch sensitivity. I have played hundreds of keyboards in my life and only very few of them (some cheap clavinovas) had problems with touch sensitivity. The main problem is that this keyboard registers what I would consider a medium, mf touch as hard, ff. It is nothing like a real piano let alone a typical digital piano or keyboard. I have tried adjusting the 3 touch sensitivity settings, using the keyboard as a midi controller with a third party app (pianoteq) in which I could customize the velocity curve, a combination of the two, even adding compression to the audio output, and nothing worked. It is still registering everything as fortissimo, velocity = 127... and there is no way to play dynamically this way. It is a shame because if it were not for this problem I would easily give this keyboard 5 stars.
Also the sustain pedal is difficult to use but it does work just fine.

M
very good sound
McKind 24.04.2022
I bought this one for my daughter, as she's learning to play keyboard. However, her previous keyboard had two problems: keys are not dynamics and the piano sound is terrible. This proprietary digital piano from Thomann solves the problems, as the keys are dynamics and the sound is very good.
So, why not 5 stars? Because, in editing mode, I could change some parameters but not others, most importantly, the dynamic response (too sensitive!). And there was not so much help from the instruction manual and from the customer service (usually fantastic).
Anyway, highly recommended as an entry digital piano.

Touchy feedback
GSabby 09.01.2022
This built quality is great, but I’m unhappy with the sound reproduction as it pertains to reading keystrokes. If I try to play softly, sometimes (many times) the notes won’t be played at all. It means I either have to always play hard or my playing will sounds choppy. The response is great through usb on my phone though! The sensitivity picks up much more accurately when an external device is connected.

Bad key sensibility
Mavim 04.02.2024
Overall it has good materials and looks good. The sound is good although it seems that the bass keys gives way more volume than the treble ones.
But the sensibility is very bad! I returned it because of it and bought a Roland. It’s more expensive but it’s not even comparable.
It worths all the extra money.

My advice, if we don’t want to use the piano as a toy, is to spend more money and buy a piano from a good brand.

Good option for new learner
Anonymous 19.10.2023
This is a good option with a good price for those who want to learn piano. I love the sound, it came out well though there is one or two key that is not precise but it is worth to buy.
