My full size cajon is a bit big to lug around when I'm not sure if I'll need it. This is perfect for those moments someone suddenly brings a guitar to a campfire so I can jam along.

The volume is lower than a full size cajon, this is perfect for not annoying the neighbors with a backyard jam.
The bass is lacking of course, but for its size there still is some.
The treble side is slightly less snappy than I expected, Maybe because it doesn't have the half screwed front like many cajons. Not really a problem as with this size the cajon is mostly treble anyway.

I really like that it comes with a bag, and the whole outside is finished very smoothly.

Things that can be improved (I can't complain for this price)
-Making the bag rainproof, bits on the sides are open.
-better quality tuning mechanism, mine was a bit crooked but it does work.

I saw this online and bought it with no experience of this kind of instrument. So no real expectations.

Having used it at several gigs I can say that it's excellent..!!

I had to buy a mic to fit inside as it's fairly quiet on its own. Don't go expecting high volume acoustically.

It's perfect for our husband and wife duo, fits easily in the car along with guitars, PA, lighting etc.

Thoroughly recommended.
