I got this for my daughter. She liked the hexagons, abalone buttons, and bell engraving. She was 11 when we ordered it. I was worried about it being large bore and a single-radius tuning slide for someone so small, but she's always been a strong player. She used to audition for an advanced arts school and was invited to attend the school. Don't worry about the large bore. It responds very well. She fills the room with huge sound when playing. You may not be able to produce a laser blast like on a more standard medium-large bore with square slide, but you can make a tremendous sound. It comes with a 5C that is probably a J Klier, but its branded Thomann. She doesn't use that one. I use it myself for passages that required fast articulation, like the staccato solo in Procession of the Nobles. If you find out where this trumpet is made, you'll be happy about that as well.
