To my ears, this gong has the best balance between fundamental and overtones of the small to medium size Wuhan gongs. It is responsive and has excellent sustain, especially for the size. Very happy with purchase.

Good and robust item. Sound is quite good given the price. Ideal for light use in a youth band.

Have correct smaller harder mallets
Percussion Fanatic 24.05.2024
Use different mallets on different spots. Hang a mallet down from its rope. Beat the mallets with another mallet (that are in your hands). The one mallet I have in my hand, I also use it to beat certain parts on the gong. I use it in my percussion setup from time to time.

GSM-FDDD2-50 dazu gekauft. Nun zeigt der Gong ein wahres Gesicht! Beide zusammen sind ein super Team. Ein toller Gong für verhältnismäßig wenig Geld.
