There is such a minimal amount of foam on the inside, I'm really not sure how it can protect the synth from anything other than minor bumps. Would it really have cost them more to double the thickness of the foam on the inside?
Some cutouts on the left and right side would be very useful so that you're able to get your fingers around the side of the synth.
This is just common sense stuff that wouldn't cost much if anything for Thomann to rectify.
I will keep this as the Deepmind 12 is relatively small and light, but for my Yamaha Motif, I won't be buying the equivalent case. The Motif too big and heavy and would squash such a thin amount of foam.
So, overall, I'd recommend spending a few extra pounds and buying from elsewhere if you need a decent amount of protection.
