Thon L-Rack 20U Toolcase Wheels

Wir verwenden das Toolcase für eine Sanitätsstation und haben dort sämtliche Verbände, Medikamente und sonstiges medizinisches Equipment in Rackschubladen von THON verstaut.

Das Toolcase ist zwar recht schwer wenn man es auf einen LKW wuchten muss, jedoch halten die verstärkten Ecken und Kanten problemlos alle Stöße an der Ladefläche des LKW ab. Der Deckel der als Tisch umfunktioniert werden kann ist ebenfalls sauber gearbeitet, vorallem was die Verankerung am Toolcase angeht als auch die Befestigung der Beine die geschraubt werden. Der Tisch hält problemlos 50 Kg aus wenn man diesen dann nicht dynamisch belastet.

Alles in allem ein super Teil, wir haben schon das 2. bestellt.

Très bonne surprise en découvrant ce produit très propre et bien fini. C'est robuste, c'est solide. Après un an d'utilisation rien à dire. Les roulettes tiennent la route, même si c'est adapté à un transport en intérieur (je pense qu'il vaut mieux éviter de traîner ce rack sur du bitume, parking et cie)

Sur le bord de scène, le look n'est pas incroyable mais sobre. Je n'utilise pas le dispositif qui permet de rajouter une table mais il est lui aussi robuste et peut s'avérer utile.

Je recommande. Au delà d'un bon rapport qualité prix, c'est un vrai bon produit.

Ich habe das Case umfunktioniert als Werkstatt- und Baustellencase. Insgesamt bin ich mit der Verarbeitung zufrieden. Lediglich die ausklappbaren Tischbeine sind unzureichend stabil.
Ich habe daher durch beide Beine eine Gewindestange gezogen, welche die Beine jetzt verbindet. Dadurch wird die Standfestigkeit massiv verbessert. Vielleicht sollte hier das Konzept nochmal überdacht werden.
Auch das die Beine zwar einen Einrastmechanismus beim Einklappen haben ist schick. Nur im ausgeklappten Zustand wäre der auch wünscheswert. Hier halten die Beine einfach nur durch den Druck der Tischplatte.
Insgesamt ist das Ganze aber für den Preis angemessen.

I got this case for a compact tour where i thought i'd mount drawers for mics and cables for the bottom 10 U's , then IEM-systems, connection plates, power rail and a racklight.

The rack itself feels a lot more stable and rugged than I thought it would be, especially after everything is mounted inside it. In my rack, I have a connection plate at the very bottom with inputs for IEM, antenna and a power con in that feeds the whole rack. It certainly has enough depth to do all the cabling in the back which always is a good thing!

Something to note when buying a rack of this size is that, depending on what you fill it upp with, it can become very heavy. So if you are in a situation where you will need to lift your equipment up or down any stairs, I would consider buying a smaller rack on wheels, and then a bunch 2-3 U racks to stack on top, that way it's easier to break apart for lifting.

For me, a big selling point is the possibility to make the lid into a table. That way, I can use the rack both for back line work and as my mixer table if I can't fit the rack on stage. It also makes for a smart little "office area" if you need to.
I also like the little surface on top of the rack that you can use for work or just to put whatever you need to on top.

The major drawback with this case, which unfortunately is a very big one, is the way the legs for the table fold in. Mainly, what they do is take up a lot of space in the lid, which means, you can't have any rack unit that is built to stick out a little. For example, mounted a Adam Hall LED racklight at the top, but then couldn't close the lid because the legs interfered with the "lamp screen". So that is something to consider when getting this product. Solution to my problem was just to mount a normal LED-strip at the top of the rack.

Overall, a great product, it does what I want it to. Except for the problem with the lamp, I am very happy with this rack!

Das Case ist grundsätzlich gut gebaut und auch belastbar.
Die verbauten 19'' Schiene machen einen stabilen Eindruck und halten auch einiges aus. Innen ist noch eine Ablage über den 19'' Schienen verbaut die dem Case nochmal zusätzliche stabilität verleiht. Der vordere Deckel kann seitlich als Tisch an das Case gebaut werden und rastet dort dann auch sauber ein. Perfekterweise passt ein Cola Kühlschrank genau zwischen die 19'' Schienen womit der Einbau natürlich für uns sehr erleichtert wurde. Nein Spass bei seite... Case ist sauber verarbeitet und ich kann es wirklich weiter empfehlen!
