Thon Rack 5U Eco II 35

Use: Home studio, on the desk.

Very sturdy construction for indoor use, love the double door feature. Comes with screws. It's very lightweight, and the color fits most indoor settings, it doesn't look too out of place. It's also portable since it's so lightweight, which is very helpful.

The price is also very good -- I only wish it had rails on both sides, then it would be perfect!

These Eco rack cases are surprisingly strong. If you are moving your own gear in a car, they are perfectly suitable. A band moving gear in a van might want something more robust. It all depends on how careful you are!

Purchased for a bandmate using a digital bass amp setup. The unit is nicely built and a great cheap entry for holding rack gear together. Unfortunately the build doesn't seem tough enough for the job. The handle and the plastic sheet seem to bow slightly under the weight of holding a power amp.
Would definitely recommend to anyone requiring holding FX units, EQs and wireless units. If shopping for something to house amplifiers, guitar pre amps, compressors or anything a bit weighty, step up to a gator or thicker case :)

the price is a little bit high for this plastic rack case, but if you want a rack case, which you don't want to travel a lot (for example for home) - does the job well!

This rack is used to house playback equipment that is not transported very much. It is perfect for my use. The case is quite lightweight, so I would not recommend this product for regular transporting to sites.

Great case for lite systems. If you need rack for in ear monitors, wireless microphones, crossover or ect. then buy it.:) One of that the material is in my opinion polycarbonate, but well made case. In overall you need to be carful with case, cause it cant lift very heavy weight.

Received the case, on time, good packaging.
The build quality is top notch, all parts fit well.
All the equipment became clear, no distortions, the geometry is excellent.

There is a nuance with the transfer handle.
The handle itself is good, but the material from which the case is assembled is quite flexible and there is a rather large possibility that the handle may fall off when worn, thus the case will fall, the equipment may break.
I believe that this part should be strengthened.

for digital stagebox or for wirelless mics

This is a good case, as Thon usually is.
It is lightweight by not using normal plywood, but a plastic construction.
I use the 5u version for 5IEM transmitters, also stowing short multicore away in the case - works perfectly.
