Shipped all my guitars from the UK to Japan by sea in this thing. When I received the shipment in Japan, everything inside was exactly the same as it was when I packed it in the UK. It's really bloody heavy though, and nearly killed the moving guys as they took it up the stairs. However, they couldn't stop saying "SUGEEEEEEE~" (rough translation: "Holy s**t this is amazing") as I was taking my guitars out to lighten it up for them. Top notch materials, craftsmanship, security (so. many. latches.), and service. I initially bought the Warwick Rock Case thing which was £100 less but much MUCH worse quality and didn't fit my baritone (definitely don't recommend that). Thomann collected it, refunded me very quickly and then sent this out as soon as I ordered it.
Besides the weight, one thing I didn't like is the default brown colour. I know it's possible to get it in other colours if you custom order it, but I think it would be a bit better if Thomann offered all the regular stock Thon stuff in a neutral black or grey colour instead of brown. I just didn't have 5 weeks to wait for a custom case.
Either way, one negative is a consequence of the very quality of the case, and the other is a subjective one (which may be shared by many people, however). Basically, if you want to ship a whole bunch of pricey guitars and basses halfway around the world, then get this. €600 is an absolute bargain for something this good.
