leather picks

I wanted to use these picks to play bass, but they are not exactly the best choice, unless you like a floppy pick.

The grip is fantastic, the leather really holds the pick in place between your fingers. However they are too soft (at least to play bass). Also, they will not last too long. I guess they are meant to play ukulele.

Too flexible, not as well suited for bass guitar playing as I expected.

Thumb bass heaven

Use this on bass. Really, really cool sound. Takes some practise to get the hang of it, but it sounds amazing. Only downside is that the leather is so soft, so while making a unique sound, it also uses the leather. My tip; buy several!

Satisfying and Well Crafted

Provides interesting mute-like tone, very useful for a less aggressive picking style. Nice size and comfortable feel. Although wears a little on the hitting edges over time.

Good for a uke
Anonymous 22.03.2016
I use this pick sometimes with my tenor uke, they are quite stiff and give a good grip, no complaints.

Leather pick gives plenty of sound
Anonymous 07.03.2016
Most uke players use a felt pick or just their fingers. Felt gives a softer sound.

This pick is stiff and a bit harsh sounding at first. I have worked mine with my fingers to make it more flexible. After some use it's good and will last a long time.

Nice Pick
CarlK 12.06.2014
This pick is great if you want something between finger picking and the harshness/attack of a hard plastic pick. A nice warm picking sound and nice to hold too!
