No more time consuming, malodourous mixing, warming and worrying this is as easy to use as standard titebond with better "grab" and a touch of gap filling.
Its quite stiff, excellent from the point of view of limiting squeeze out but for some applications you might choose to warm it slightly to make it slightly runnier.
It tends to stay "rubbery" longer than "boiled" hide glue, presumably due to the inhibiter...I leave overnight before any strain and about 48 hrs for bridge/neck resets.
Shelf life is about 12 months....write the date on the bottle when you open it...as it approaches its end of life, test glue some scrap the day before.
You can apparently decant and freeze it if you only use small amounts at a time but I've not tried that!
Finally,if you are eco-minded,once its expired dilute the remains considerably and use as fertiliser, its nitrogen rich!
