Die Brücke und der Saitenhalter meine Gibson SG Faded 2017 waren ziemlich stark korrodiert (2,5 Jahre Seeluft), weswegen ein Austausch notwendig war.
Die Teile waren einfach einzubauen. Die alten Gewinde im Holz habe ich in der Gitarre gelassen. Das war auch kein Problem, weil die Teile von TonePros einwandfrei passen. Lediglich das Kerben der Reiter ist etwas aufwendiger, weil sie nicht vorgekerbt sind.
Das Material sieht einwandfrei aus, die Verarbeitung scheint Top zu sein. Die Qualität der Vernickelung wird man aber erst in ein paar Jahren beurteilen können.
Der Sound hat sich auf jeden Fall verbessert. Der Klang ist sauberer und voller. Das wird zum Teil mit der Korrosion der alten Teile zu tun haben.
Ich würde das Set wieder kaufen.
