Works well for a small pedal collection!
Anonymous 27.05.2015
The world of pedals is daunting enough when you first start out, but when you get to power supplies, then it's terrifying. Needless to say I'm a beginner to the world of pedals.

I wanted something to power my small pedal collection (6 pedals), as my battery costs were getting way too expensive. I noted from endless forums and videos online, that hum and noise can cause an issue when power supplies are involved. Isolated supplies were apparently the way to go and daisy chains were a big no.

Being on a budget, a quality isolated power supply was out of the question and so I asked a friend who I knew had a 1-Spot and used live, if it worked well for him. He said it did and had never experienced hum or noise with it.

I took a gamble and purchased the 1-Spot, with the idea to upgrade in time.

I've been playing through the 1-Spot and haven't experienced any problems, it's quiet and powers everything, great. The additional extensions and adaptors are fantastic as it lets me power up my old Big Muff and it feels like it will be long enough to reach any far, distant stage power in the future.

That being said, I'm yet to try this out on stage but I'm confident that I've made the right choice.

If you need something simple, cheap and uncomplicated that doesn't take up a large chunk of room on your board then the 1-Spot is excellent. No more battery worries!

Good affordable power supply

It has a little noise because of the daisy-chain. But it's a good starter power supply

Great for smaller pedalboards
Kul 25.08.2014
I bought this to use on my small pedalbord (only 5 pedals) and it works great! The pedals aren't attached to the board, which makes the 1 spot easy to use and a lot easier to bring to gigs instead of a big and heavy power supply. Though if you're going to use this on a board where the pedals are fixed and you always want the power to go with the board, I would suggest you mount a power supply. But for a few pedals (and especially if you don't have a board and just lay the pedals out on the ground) this 1 spot is perfect! It comes with converters that works perfectly (I've used the one made for EHX pedals and the battery clip converter).

Great quality!

Couldn't recommend this power supply more! I use it on in conjunction with my pedalboard. It is extremely quiet and is quite compact and is easy to integrate into any setup you could conceive. Very useful. The actual physical quality of the item and the packaging it comes in is also very reassuring. Obviously some more expensive products will have more options with different outputs etc etc but for the money this is better than anything else in it's price range and beats most of the guys above it too. Highly recommend!

Works well with few pedals
Anonymous 14.02.2017
I used to power my pedals with that pack. It is good if you use few pedals. If you use five or more, you start having issues. Such as noise, or your pedals don't functioning at their max. It is also limiting if you use variety of pedals (line6, fuzzes) The 1700 mA is the main issue in case you use many pedals.
It's great advantages to me, is the variety of sockets of the combo pack. Also, the truly satisfying cable length.
