Solid Bag for both records and hardware
Mathieu Tiger 24.10.2019
This is my first UDG case, I initially bought it because I mix on vinyl (but not exclusively) and I get some bookings in several countries. The idea was to have a cabin luggage so that I don't have to wait at the airport every time. I also heard many stories of records stolen from checked in luggages so I also want to avoid this at all cost. It turns out that I equally use this bag for records and for carrying hardware instruments for my live show.

What I like:
The build quality is very good. The wheels roll down very smoothly, the zips are great and the main handle is filled with thick gel which makes it very comfortable - a HUGE advantage compared to most instruments cases. The bag can carry a bit more than 40 records (with plastic sleeve protection). Or, you can add the (removable) gel protection on the sides if you want to carry hardware. I have enough space to carry a drum machine, a small synth, an audio soundcard, a guitar pedal, some cables and my headphones.
Also, it seems that you can add another UDG bag on top of this one if you want to carry more records.

What I don't like:
If you want to carry records, you have to remove the internal gel protection on the sides otherwise it doesn't fit. This means the records are in contact with hard plastic. This also means I advise to fill the bag with records so that they don't move during. transportation.

What I would add:
Thinking as a touring DJ, I think this bag is almost perfect. The only thing I would add is another separate pocket for some clothes and personal belongings for the weekend. I am pretty sure the bag can be a little bit thicker while still being a carry-on bag in the plane.

There's space for like 50 records but the size is perfect con this one isnt exceding the cabin size so you wont need to leave you beloved records in the cargo.
Feels very durable!

Is not the best bet if you plan to fill it up, will work fine for 30, maybe 40 records.
