Modern Meyer mouthpieces seem to have a problem with uneven tables-this one is no exception despite the high price and alleged higher quality control.....Once I flattened the table(not for the faint-hearted!) it performs as it should-classic Meyer Bros sound and response with plenty of projection.Not as bright as the later New York model and with a bigger sound. Intonation good.Ideal for small group jazz or big band.
