Good Ligature for Rumberger WP-1X.
Rumberger microphone is installed in the mouthpiece at 90degrees to reed, hard to find a ligature that leaves this space clear. I can just get the ligature off but it was on when the mic sleeve was installed and will stay on. You can see this combination on Earspasm youtube. I have installed the mic with the cable to the right - less interference with arms.
I have one of these Ligatures I use on a regular mouthpiece. I like the ease of use. I prefer the old style ligature to give maximum range of sounds but this is good. Not allowing quite such a range means it's more forgiving of mouth (embouchure) errors.
Both mouthpieces are Selmer Concepts.
Single screw that has left and right threads makes for a fast reed change. A big plus even when practicing.
