As a concert percussionist, these sticks feel great for any rudimental repertoire (etudes, exercises, solo pieces) when played on concert snare drums. Most of the delicate nuances from the classical drumming repertoire are also quite easy to play with these sticks - the shape of the head and the comfortable weight distribution of these longer sticks really help creating a smoother concert snare drum roll. I also use these on a daily basis for warming up on a pad.

Stunning pair of sticks. The feeling in my hands is just right: the weight, balance, response are outstanding. Some other reviews may say the lacquer finish is too slippery, however, my opinion is that these sticks are designed for the concert snare drum, you don't have to move quickly across the drum set, and even the fastest passages are not an issue to lose them.
