You cant go wrong with these Vic Firths sticks.

For me they are the absolute classic to go for.

They last long, have a great feel/grip to them and have an absolute amazing sound.

Vic Firth - brand for quality

Really great sticks. I stick to mainly these now.
Not too light, not too heavy.
I love the teardrop-shaped tips as they are a little bit longer than the usual round tip. That allows greater variation of sound when hitting cymbals as You can hit them with the end of the tip to create a sharper sound or (the best way in my opinion) hit them flat with the whole side of the tip to create a warmer tone.
It's easy to play silently as well as loudly with force, kind of a hybrid if You ask me.
Good if the music You play is dynamic.

The benchmark...

I'm just a new drummer... and as so, have tried a bunch of different sticks; sizes, woods, weights... I ALWAYS come back to these... in a blind test, these won HANDS DOWN... and my drum teacher also said, simply "can't go wrong with VIC FIRST 5Bs"

Very durable, and a great sound

I've recently moved up to 2B sticks, but they are still Vic Firth American Classics. They might be a bit more pricey than other sticks, but sticks that cost half as much (the Vic Firth Nova range, for example) won't last half as long as these will. Also keep in mind you get a worse sound from sticks that are very worn down.

These are my favourite sticks for playing heavier music. They can really pack a punch and yet they're not too thick. If you take care of them, they can last very long.

Would recommend this to heavy drummers

Top notch quality

What's not to like about these drumstricks? These are very very durable, I never break one they just go frail over time so I have to replace them.

The wood is definitely top-notch quality in comparison to some other, cheaper, drumsticks.

You can trust in Vic Firth
Duane C. 25.03.2014
Ive used many brands of sticks in my playing career of 30+ years but now only use Vic Firths as they are the only ones that seem to endure my heavier style of playing and they also have the perfect weight and balance for what I need.Ive also yet to come across any warped or misshapen ones -s omething you won't find with cheaper sticks.

Great drumsticks

These feel well-balanced in my hands i'll be getting more when the need presents itself.
I prefer wooden tip over nylon at least you don't have to worry about the tips flying off unless you break em' real good. I recommend these for the drummer out there.
