Excellent little amp
Mairts 27.01.2020
I love this little amp and I think it's a great bang for your buck.
This is my 4th modelling amp and right now I don't see myself switching out this amp. All the previous ones were from Fender Mustang series and I definitely like this one the best. I think the sound is absolutely great for such a small and cheap amp, definitely better than the bigger and more expensive Mustang amps that I've owned. Plus you can use it with batteries and as a bluetooth speaker so I use it a lot for just listening to music from my phone around the house or when I'm doing something in the garden. Since it's so small I sometimes take it with me to a friends house to listen to music.
From the different amp models I mostly use 3 - Brit 800, Brit Verb and Double Rec. They cover pretty much all my needs from more mellow classic rock sounds to nirvana and some more metal type music.
From the effects I like the 2 delays and I think the phaser effect is nice as well, don't really care for the rest of the effects there are.
It looks a bit weird like a woman's handbag but I don't really care as long as it works and sounds fine.
If you need a small amp to just rock out at home or you need carry your amp around a lot you just can't go wrong with this one.

Finally, something that worth buying!
Paul87 12.08.2017
I haven't really found too much information or many reviews, so I was just hoping before the purchase that at this price point it will be good.
In a word, yes it's good, and I didn't regretted ordering it. I will use it as a practice amp at home. For me it was important that if it has a Bluetooth feature, than it also should work properly.
I have briefly owned the Fender Mustang GT before and I wasn't really pleased with the music playback quality because it sounded really boxy, but Vox made it work. The music playback is pleasant and enjoyable.
Lets get to the most important part, I like some of the tones, even though I am just a beginner, I could dial in some nice tones, but I have still a lot to learn about the different effects.
I would mention that it doesn't have any noticeable static noise or humming like other practice amps like the Blackstar ID Core 20.
Yes, it's not a Boss Katana, but it has other purposes.
I would add that the build quality is satisfying. I haven't had a chance to try any recording features, cause I don't need it, so I cant comment on that. And yes it has an app, and it could be a little more intuitive with more features like the Fender app.
So, would I recommend it? Yes if you don't mind the slightly higher price. Is it better than the Yamaha THR 10? I don't know, but its newer and it has a good functioning bluetooth, what justifies the price difference.

Dont let it the looks dissuade you

Great bit of kit. Loads of features. Especially the bluetooth functionality. While it is a practice amp it is loud enough for a quiet jam if that makes sense. I knocked one star off as despite my happiness with the purchase, have you seen it lol. The AI on my phone camera recognised it as a handbag

Does what you expect but a couple more features/added functionality would be nice
RohanB 11.02.2022
I mostly just play at home having started playing 6 months ago and with a lot of my guitar influences using vox amps I liked the idea of this a lot and so far the sound has been exactly what I've expected it can get pretty loud considering the size of the speakers and it does all the sounds I like mostly clean or light distortion, the modulation effects I've found are good too. I do think a couple of things other similar amps have like a looper would be nice and you can't have multiple modulation or delay/reverb effects on at once which would be a nice plus. Also the Vox tone studio app is a bit of a nightmare particularly on mobile but that was all expected when I bought it so impressed and happy with it overall.

A bit dissapointed
Devian 09.06.2018
I have yamaha thr10x with which I am very happy, and for my summer house I wanted to try something else. Watching some youtube videos which stated that the vox is better than yamaha soundwise I bought the vox. Well to me the sound and effects quality is not in par with Yamaha thr10x. The distorted amp sounds are a bit fuzzy. Effects also dont give you that high quality spacious feel. When you activate the wide effect which is supposed to give more stereo feel I feel the sound quality reduces. It is not a disaster, it is a good product but to me if you are looking for high quality high gain sounds the yamaha thr10x is much better. The vox has a bluetooth connection which works very well if you want to use it as a mobile speaker for music liatening. The yamaha lacks the bluetooth . Most probably I will sell this and try a boss katana air. Edit 2019: I did not sell it but I bought a boss katana air too. I ended up selling the katana. So far I am keeping the yamaha thr10x and the vox. I silently await for when yamaha will release the series with wireless connection.

Solid, versatile practice amp
Davedrave 14.12.2021
Overall Im happy with the amp after many months usage. Anyone looking for a practice amp and know the drawbacks and advantage of them compared to a big tube amp will not be disappointed, however given my cons below im left wondering do the competitors have the same issues or did I choose poorly.

Pros:
1.Easy to get good sounds
2.Sounds good for tiny speaker
3.Versatile as bluetooth speaker

Cons:
1.Would really have been great if rechargeable, I use separate rechargeable batteries and never bother with the ac adaptor
2.I used the app to make new sounds once, its kinda trash, very dated looking. Disappointing to buy a new product but then the app is from 2005
3. The bluetooth range is very spotty when playing songs from my phone. If the phone is 6-10 feet away it starts having issues streaming; sort of defeats the purpose of using it as a bluetooth speaker

Buy This !
Pixel Ninja 13.05.2020
Absolutely blown away by this thing. I bought a Katana mini initially, but wasn't very impressed with it (no reverb or effects) so returned it. I decided to pay a little more and get the Vox Adio Air GT. It is stunningly good, the tones are brilliant, the build quality is great and although it gets slated for its looks, I really like its "blingness". I use it with rechargeable batteries...so can happily sit in the garden and noodle away with backing tracks from my phone (Blue tooth....so another massive plus). Probably in the top 5 instrument purchases I've made in over 30s of playing

totally amazing
ftruyts 12.04.2018
this amp is totally great. amazing sound, a lot of nicely modelled amp models to choose from, amazing effects, I practically don't use my tube amp anymore since I have this one. All my friends are blown away by how full it sounds, even next to a 12 inch speaker it doesn't sound small at all, especially with the 'wide' feature on and chorus it sounds absolutely huge. Very happy with this impulsive acquisition :D

A great home amp
PB&J 02.09.2019
I got this amp with my guitar for my birthday and i like it a lot. It may seem a bit complicated with all the buttons and dials. But once you take a bit of time to play with it, you'll find that it's very straightforward. Only the Tone Room app seems a bit complicated.

My apartment has paper thin walls so i was a bit nervous about using an amp at home bit with this amp you can play very quiet while not changing the tone. Just crank the volume and gain all you like and turn the instrument dial down until it's the level you want. Or use headphones.
