This is a versatile combo, with decent sounds and nice effects. Having said this, I do not use it anymore. Has nothing to do when compared to my collection of valve amps (blackstar, bugera, laney, rivera, marshall & ENGL). For a comparable price you get responsiveness with tube amps; the armonics, the warmess of the sound of a tube amp is significantly better. The cleans of a real 6L6 or the distorsion of an EL34 is not comparable with the simulations of VOX VT40
