Great sounds, very versatile but unreliable
Tim yo 20.11.2020
I really loved this pedal, I thought I would never have to worry about which modulation pedal I should buy and whether it would fit on my board. All the sounds are amazing, I used the chorus it for lush 80s post-punk vibes and other times I would mess with the flanger or phaser to cheer up friends by making laser-gun noises while rolling on the floor and taking cover behind the furniture.

HOWEVER I simply do not understand why wampler chose to go with this terribly fragile preset button, which you can not even press with your feet, let alone with your shoes on in a live setting to do the most important job apart from the bypass switch on such an expensive Product. The potentiometers were also quite scratchy when I got it.

E
Fantastic device, one big BUT
EwaldK 26.12.2021
If you are looking for one effect pedal to cover all your modulation 'needs', this might be the one. There is only big 'but'. I use this pedal exclusively in my music studio and from my effects this is easily the most difficult one to read, and it does have quite a number of knobs. What doesn't help either is that the lights on the effect are super bright which makes it even harder to read information. My only solution is to get very close to the effect to see what knob I'm using. I can understand this might be totally unworkable for a guitarist doing live gigs.

F
A powerful & versatile modulation pedal
Fry57 18.02.2021
This is a great pedal, very well built, very tweakable - I'm just taking one star off because switching presets requires to cycle through them with a small button that isn't easy to action by foot, but it wouldn't have been easy to do better.

It takes a little while to adjust and remember what some knobs do on some effects, but the cheatsheet is very well done, and it's just a matter of experimenting a bit to find the right settings.

The wiring options with the pre in / out and post in / out are really cool. I use it with other drives & a HX stomp, and this allows me to do Guitar -> Terraform pre -> drives -> HX stomp in -> HX stomp send -> Terraform post -> HX Stomp return. I place the FX loop of the stomp in the relevant block, and then I can choose if effects are applied before or after the gain stages. Really cool.

I haven't explored the use of external midi controls & expression pedals, but it's available for those who want to use this.

Special mentions to the uni-vibe, rotary, tremolo, harmonic tremolo and dimensions chorus. Not so keen on flanger & phaser effects, but maybe I just haven't found the right settings for these effects.

A great pedal, which isn't cheap, but it provides really good tone and value for the money !

F
Great sounds but it adds hiss, white noise when engaged. Switching presets is a pain
FilipPL 16.01.2023
I wanted to love it but sent it back. The quality of the effects were stellar. Simple to set up, no 100 parameters and sub menus to find a good chorus, tremolo, envelope filter etc sounds. There are three main problems - it's very noisy which is unacceptable in 2022, switching presets is very weird without Midi switcher, there are no subdivisions for tremolo, only quarter notes.
When the pedals is in front of the amp it adds a lot of noise when engaged. It only works when you use 4 cable method and use pre/post function and the effects loop, then it is quiet. I don't understand why it is so noisy in front of the amp.
Preset switch should be normal size, not this little button. Otherwise you are left with holding tap tempo to go in to preset mode. Even then when you scroll and want to use a particular preset, you need to think were is it because if you go in to that preset, and press tap tempo again to go back to tap tempo functionality you will skip this preset! And you need to scroll again. Very frustrating live.
It's a shame because the quality of the effects was great. Chorus sound as good as my vintage CE-2
