Most like Bach standard 10

The 7* is most like the standard Bach backbore 10 for me, it has good flexibility and a broader sound (wider note slots) with less projection than the 7. It is amazing that the shorter throat tube makes it so different - it also allows you to move pitches around on badly tuned trumpets for a little more playing effort.

The KT star backbore gives me a real quality in all registers with the right balance of a full sound with projection . Also my endurance has improved when playing high and loud over a longer period. After many years of testing various set ups, I have finally got it right.
