Well constructed and adequate cup mute but doesn't compare with the Ray Robinson and not in the same ball park as cheaper H+B mutes.

Hervorragender Klang und etwas Bastelei

Als großer Marsalis-Fan musste ich diesen Dämpfer unbedingt testen, da mir der Sound in einem Video sehr gefallen hat: zeigte sich dann auch schnell beim eigenen Ausprobieren ... toller Sound. Meinen Dennis Wick Cup-Mute habe ich dann mal in Rente geschickt.
Der Warburton Cup-Mute kommt im Jazz (Solo/BigBand) sowie im Orchester zum Einsatz.
In der tiefen Lage klang es zu Beginn gar nicht gut und auch die Intonation war bescheiden. Das scheint jedoch normal zu sein und man muss die Korken abschleifen.
Ebenso habe ich die scharfen Kanten mit einem feinen Schmirgelpapier bearbeitet.
Nun bin ich sehr zufrieden.
