Warwick Straplocks
James K. 12.06.2013
This product came with very simple instructions, taking off old strap buttons and replacing with Warwick Straplock buttons using the screws provided, then placing the lock onto the strap and tightening it with a wrench/spanner of the correct size. These straplocks are very sturdy and very easy to fit, I have fitted them on three different instruments (in black and chrome) and I did not have to drill any holes, the whole installation can be completed with a crosshead screwdriver and a spanner and provides a very reliable system, I could not find any faults with these straplocks and the release buttons are easier to use than those on other brands. As usual with Warwick these are of high quality and work extremely well!

Ottimi

Strap locks
Smurray 11.02.2022
I put these on all my basses. Whether they are Warwick or not I still don't want my bass hitting the ground. These have been the most reliable strap locks I've ever used. It is worth checking the nut tightness intermittently as after 2-3 months they may need tightening again. The different colour options are great as you cab blend them with your strap/bass to ensure nothing looks out of place too

Very bad quality
Mitz 18.04.2023
I tried to install the straplock (not my first time) and the screw went bad halfway into the guitar, now it's half inserted and I can't take it out or screw it in, I will have to cut it off if I find tools small enough for the job...dissapointed

A Must if you have a warwick Bass
Mark8433 01.02.2016
The strap attachments on all warwick basses are made to take these straplocks, which is a must unless your happy to have your bass hit the floor from waist height - especially front of stage. Its a no brainer, without them it's only a matter of time before it happens. The thickness of your strap makes it harder to fit them, and i'd advise to check the tightness of the nut periodically.

Have a plan b for when these fail
Modono 17.02.2024
These were great for about 1 month and then they were suddenly the worst buy ever. Luckily I didn't drop mine, but it was close! Fair play to thomann, no hassle in replacing them for a set of Dunlops. Maybe I was just unlucky with the pair I got, but won't be giving them a second chance in this lifetime.

A set for every guitar I own
Anonymous 28.03.2016
I install these on every guitar I own and recommend them to everyone I know. I've never had them fail or had any issues with them, great product well worth it. Installed on everything from a basswood Tele to a mahogany Les Paul so they'll support pretty much any guitar you throw at it.

Original Warwick
dsds110 12.05.2024
Original Warwick straplock. Works well. But I got a shock the other time. While playing live, the straplock had inched its way out of the socket and could have fallen out. Not as secure as I was led to believe. Also heavy, and if you're not careful with your strap removal, the heavy metal lump will hit and ding your wood finish.

After I found the strap coming out while playing live, I checked all 3 of my Warwick straplocks for the same issue and realise that as they wear, it will become increasingly easy for the straplocks to be able to come off while locked in place. Also, it is heavy compared to other straplock methods.

For this reason of instrument security while playing live, I have decided to go back to the humble rubber/silicone strapblocks. Cheaper, lighter, and not able to be yanked off, unlike these ones.
