They strap, and they lock. Straplocks

They do exactly what it says on the box.
If you have a Warwick bass, they are the same product that came with it.
This means that if you want more lock-equipped straps, these are the ones to get.

If you want to get a straplock-system, these are OK. They lock securely and look great, but the strap will sit quite a long way from the body of the instrument.
If you already have strap mounts, you might have to fill that hole first.

Pros: Can be used as a regular strap-mounting-point with other straps, attaches securely, easy to install.
Cons: Changing old strap-mount-points can be troublesome, the strap is moved almost 2cm from the body of the instrument.

Mounting this model on my guitars (Gibson, Epiphone, Hagström) I have never been able to use the original screws from the guitar. The screws that come with the kit are too narrow to fit the holes in the guitar and I always have to put matches or toothpicks to make them stick. It is not a big problem but it is somewhat annoying.
Once on the guitar they work as intended.

I never used a straplock, until I dropped my guitar. After that accident, I bought this straplock and it's on my guitar eversince! The best investment you can make for your beloved guitar ;)
