Waves CLA Classic Compressors

These are really excellent plugins, up there with the very best. One advantage of the 'native' format is that you are not tied into any proprietary hardware (DSP accelerators, for example). On the downside, it does use computer resources. These particular plugins do seem quite efficient, however, and on a recent iMac made very little impact on CPU or memory use. Visually, they look great - very much like the 'real thing' - and the sound quality is beyond reproach. They integrated perfectly into Presonus Studio One Professional, and into several other DAW programs on our system. At the great price offered by Thomann they were a fantastic buy, and I highly recommend them if you wish to move up from the standard quality compressor plugins supplied with most DAWS. These are true professional quality tools.
